For the second weekend in a row, you dug James Cameron's AVATAR. AVATAR dropped only an astounding 1.8% from it's opening weekend, bringing it's full total to over $212 million dollars in only two weeks in U.S. theaters alone.
Not far behind at #2 was SHERLOCK HOLMES. Even at #2, this Guy Ritchie movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, brought in an impressive $62 million, making this holiday weekend the biggest for U.S. Christmas box office ever.
TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, finally fell off the top ten, leaving with over $280 million in U.S. boxoffice, which is pretty good for a $50 million dollar movie. This weekend, like last weekend, you're burying nothing! |
