It's time to have a serious discussion about whether Harrison Ford is immortal. After all, news broke Tuesday that the actor will star in a fifth "Indiana Jones" movie, set for release in 2019.

At age 73, and with a frickin' plane crash very near in his rearview mirror, Ford continues to crush it at a pace that would likely break many younger stars.

However, while Tim has dutifully made his remakes and reboots, he forever prowls for where he excels: original material. 20th Century Fox offered him this.

On his Official Facebook page, Tim writes,
"When I was first approached to direct Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children I was given a summary of the novel with all of the photos in the book. I was immediately intrigued by the haunting and mysterious pictures in Ransom Rigg's novel and knew I wanted to tell the story of those kids. A girl, lighter than air, a boy with bees living in his stomach, a woman who turned into a bird—it was a world I wanted to explore. So I made a film about them."

Rumors really started heating up Aug 11, 2015 after Winona Ryder was a guest on the Late Night With Seth Meyers show and when asked about a possible sequel she led everyone to believe that the film is a go after talking with Tim Burton though this was never confirmed. Winona said:

Beetlejuice 2 not happening, says Tim Burton's rep

So, about that Beetlejuice sequel… it's not happening.

Early Friday morning, reports surfaced that a long-discussed follow-up to filmmaker Tim Burton's 1988 paranormal adventure was moving forward — that a script had been completed and original stars Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton confirmed to return. Trouble is, none of that was actually true, according to a rep for the filmmaker. She said the information was based on fabricated comments from the director and confirmed to EW that Beetlejuice 2 is not in development at this time.

DARK TOWER MOVIE FINDS ITS JAKE CHAMBERS

The cast for 2017's film adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series finally seems to be coming together. With Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey confirmed for lead roles recently, now all that seems to remain is to flesh out the supporting cast, the first step of which seems to have been taken, with Variety reporting that Tom Taylor has been hand-picked for the role of Jake Chambers.

"Initially [the script] was sent to me by my agent, in that typical way, but it was somewhat not typical because they weren't allowed to read it, they weren't allowed to know anything about it," Mary Elizabeth Winstead, one of the three main members of the small cast, explained over the phone.

Netflix is buying Hush, a low-budget horror movie premiering at SXSW

Netflix's latest movie acquisition is Hush, a micro-budget thriller from director Mike Flanagan that's premiering at SXSW this weekend. Flanagan also wrote and produced the movie, which stars co-writer Kate Siegel as a reclusive author suffering from hearing loss who's being hunted by a masked killer. (The movie also stars The Newsroom's John Gallagher Jr., Michael Trucco, and Samantha Sloyan.) Veteran horror producer Jason Blum (Unfriended, Periscope horror movie Fifteen) co-produced the movie, and he's also worked with Flanagan on projects like Oculus and the upcoming Ouija 2. Hush is going to debut in Austin on March 12th (this Saturday), and it'll be made available on Netflix on April 8th.

Cyberpunk 2077 "Much Greater" in Magnitude Than The Witcher, Dev Says

Speaking today during The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red's latest earnings briefing, management discussed upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 and did not hold back in their enthusiasm for it. According to DualShockers, studio head Adam Badowski said The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt raised the bar, meaning Cyberpunk 2077 needs to be "even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary" than what the company originally set out to do.
