THE CARTOON WAR
As the hue and cry by insane radical Muslims continues to escalate, some Arab newspapers have responded by publishing their most virulent anti-jewish cartoons they can find. Note that they are not publishing cartoons to insult the Danes who started it all. Rather, Islam, once the most advanced culture on earth, has sunk to such depths that their low intelligence has only one trick, and so they go with what they know. And you can't isolate it as only "radical Islam" when nearly ALL of the newspapers in ALL of the Islamic countries are doing this. The joke here is, of course, that all of the cartoons they mean to use in striking back - so far - were already published in these various newspapers. They are simply going through their archives. Proving still again that radical Muslims have no respect for anyone at any time, or anywhere, least of all themselves. This all in keeping with Shar-ia, a law of Islam that makes Aparthied look benign by comparison. And if you don't know what that is, or why its been in effect for the last few centuries, then you should educate yourself. In the meantime the Horror grows and now, since it is being directed at Europeans, the governments of those countries are suddenly no longer laughing at the U.S.' problems with radical Islam.
Note that this is not an attack on all Muslims, but specifically Islamic countries that perpetuate hate, which is nearly all of them. But there are Muslims in other countries who fled the madness. There are those Muslims who reveal the machinations behind the insanity of radical Islam (Democracy In A Cartoon). An insanity that bears no relationship to the ideal of true Islam any more than the Westboro Baptist Church represents Christianity.

Meanwhile, as all of this is going on, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), at a convention of United Auto Workers, accused Republicans of "playing the fear card." (this came about a week after she played, yet again, "the Race Card" on Martin Luther King Day in Harlem, New York). As part of her speech, she added that Democrats should not be afraid to question Bush's handling of the war. Since when have Democrats EVER been afraid of questioning Bush's handling of the war? What is she even talking about? And more to the point, with all that is happening in the world at this very moment, how can she pretend that all the rioting and death and death threats over some cartoons in Denmark is nothing more than fear mongering on the part of the Bush Administration? The twelve cartoonists, including one who copped a coward's walk and didn't even draw a cartoon of Mohammad, have gone into hiding for fear of their lives - like Salmon Rushdie did in 1988. It's merely the Republican's playing the "Fear Card?" Whew! Its hard to imagine a politician more out of touch.
At this point, I'd like to present a caveat. I wrote the forward to a graphic novel collection that was released last year. To call the book blasphemous is being kind. At the San Diego Comic Convention, I was with many of the artists of that book, while I was there representing the book, among the nearly 100,000 who attended, I was also wearing (because I'm the kinda guy who loves irony), my bright orange Rush Limbaugh "Club Gitmo" T-Shirt. The worst I expected from my shenanigans was to find someone fervently clutching a bible and calling fire and damnation upon my soul for being part of such a book. The only grief I got was from someone with Bush's face, with a swastika on his forehead, on the front of their shirt. On the other hand, I got more compliments for being part of the comic, and for wearing the shirt, than any laughable grief.
Horror writer, former reviewer, and pal, Brian Keene, used to go by the nickname, Saten, and ran a newsletter called Jobs In Hell, which he published through JIHad Publications. He still runs a message board called HAIL SATEN. So I guess, via my connections, I'm going to hell. That is, if the loonies with their swastikas and machetes don't get me first.
