SICK MORON RFK JR. |

SEPT 1
ANOTHER CHOWDAH HEAD FROM THE KENNEDY CLAN This despite a family whose story has spent nearly a century in the American spotlight starting with an organized crime boss father; evolving up to a War Hero/tragedy; inspiring President/stalwart anti-communist / tragedy; crimefighter / tragedy; and devolving into partyboy / manslaughterer / lout; partyboy / rapist / lout; convicted murderer / rapist / lout; and so on. You'd think that it would be near impossible not to make a big name for yourself under such circumstances. Yet RFK Jr.'s most recent contributions to his family's colorful history is as a blog responder. But RFK Jr. has got a himself a name now: cold-blooded bonehead. His post was on August 29, which means he started writing it on August 28, while Hurricane Katrina was beginning its natural rampage across ol' Miss. While people were just starting to die, Kennedy decided to blame A HURRICANE of all things, on a few individuals. And wouldn't you know it? None of those people belonged to his party!
His uneducated opinion is a ponderously titled piece which can be found on Democratic Underground Lite aka The Huffington Post (which is also running a contest! Vote YES, NO, or HUH? to the question: Should Marijuana be Legalized? and you could win an X-Box 360! Dude! It's so bitchin' to be so smart!). His Op-ed is vile in the extreme when you consider that, he was writing it in preparation for grandstanding on the bodies of the soon-to-be-dead. To make the point of his piece, this repulsive piece of work actually COUNTED on the Still Living to be DEAD by the time of his posting! But unlike Pat Robertson, who I justifiably roasted last week, RFK Jr.'s mean-spirited gloating was so quickly refuted by solid scientific evidence (within hours!), that all of his supporters, slavishly sucking up to that "Camelot Smear", were revealed to be the buffoons they are. Even a little research on his part would have showed Robert that he was wrong. Which means either he doesn't care about the facts, or he thinks that his supporters are so stupid they'll swallow anything he says, just like Pat Robertson (and Jerry Falwell for that matter). Today, the revelation of RFK Jr. as a sick moron who giggles with puke-worthy partisan delight over the death of his fellow citizens, is a done deal. But like Robertson and Falwell, he'll still have his blind followers, as he contributes to his family's public downslide into the creepiest shadows of human behavior. For They That Sow the Wind Shall Reap the Whirlwind Katrina and Disgusting Exploitation The Deadliest Atlantic Tropical Cyclones, 1492-1996 U.S. Hurricane Strikes by Decade Shout it at the Kennedy compound, gang: If you are going to have an opinion, can it at least be an INFORMED opinion? Now as usual I'll probably get the following types of emails. Visitors from the Left will write and say, Visitors from the Right will say, To all of this I say: "Ah...er, uh...Vote Quimby!" UPDATE: April 11, 2021 * Since 2005 The Huffington Post had this article, and plenty more like it (Anti-GMO, etc.), up for 16 years as they preened on about being anti-Big Pharma. They had periodic updates to it (like this in May 25, 2011), which worked in doubling down into the Anti-Vaccine alarm. HuffPo didn't scrub it off until April 11, 2021 so the Joe Biden administration wouldn't look bad, suddenly flipping his party's ancient message on its head, as if the standard decades old memo never existed. That message flipping the Democrats Big Pharma "Republican image (they don't care!)" to their own "Democrat image (They instantly care!)" so as to appear as our saviors and angels who would not, could not, do any wrong - not even for money. 16 long years. The Katrina one is still up though. Huffington Post / YouGov Sept. 6 - 7, 2013 survey UPDATE: NOVEMBER 15, 2006 UPDATE: AUGUST 2006 UPDATE: MAY 23, 2006 UPDATE: APRIL 10, 2006 UPDATE: February 24, 2006 UPDATE: DECEMBER/JANUARY, 2006 UPDATE: NOVEMBER 20, 2005 SEPT. 2 LOUISIANA UPDATE 1 No word from Anne Rice (INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE, QUEEN OF THE DAMNED) at her website. No word from M.F. Korn (CONFESSIONS OF A GHOUL, SKIMMING THE NUCLEAR GUMBO)
on his website. SEPT. 2 LOUISIANA UPDATE: Evening 1 Except for now. Now everybody with a microphone is cooly discussing their reasoning ability about Louisiana, as if this disaster is somehow the fault of the citizens there, for living there. NBC's Pete Williams, says that FEMA's Acting Deputy Director Patrick Rhode was asked "How anyone could be surprised by a flood, when the levees were not built to withstand a Category Five hurricane." What is that supposed to mean, anyway? People in Louisiana were surprised that Katrina took a sudden turn and headed right for New Orleans. Truth is, those old earthen levees withstood the hurricane quite well. It is the newest section, the high tech, state of the art section built by the Army Corps of engineers, that was destroyed by Katrina - a Category 4 storm. Unfortunately, the remaining levees are doing their job too well, forming a bowl around the city. And you know what? All of that doesn't matter. What matters is not who is to blame but how fast we respond to this RIGHT NOW! Point yer f*cking fingers AFTER everybody has got to safety! The Associated Press also needs to stop their racist reporting. White people who go into a grocery store and take food were "able to find some food in a grocery store". Black people who do the exact same thing at the exact same grocery store at the exact same time are called "looters". President Bush cut his vacation short and got to work on this, but where the hell are the vacationing Senate and Representatives who control the nation's purse strings? Contact the offices of your local representative your Senator and demand that they cut their vacation short and return to Washington to FIGHT THIS DISASTER! 90,000 square miles of the U.S. has been damaged. Think about 5 hydrogen bombs hitting targets along the Mississippi. And these politicos are ignoring this and enjoying their vacations! Call your Senator or Representative, tell them to get the hell off their ass, get to Washington, and fix this thing NOW! Our citizens are dying RIGHT NOW! SEPT 2 From Harry Shannon This note came from him this morning - it's not an anonymous internet pass-along. The perspective is just too real. And the action he's requesting is all-too doable. I know many people have called and asked what they can do for all of us in New Orleans. If you would, please distibute this email to everyone you can think of. This is important. Would everyone please, please call their senators and congressmen and plead for the federal government to take control of our city. There are people on the streets who have not eaten in days. They are living in human waste amongst dead bodies. Lawlessness is the rule. I have a friend who is a Doctor at Children's Hospital. He had to drive to his house to retrieve a gun so that he and other Doctors could guard the hospital from looters. Doctors who have attempted to drive ailing children to Baton Rouge in their own cars were carjacked in the parking lot. Tim has yet to see a policeman or national guardsman. They are overwhelmed. Another acquaintance drove in to the city to check his house. He was immediately carjacked and is now stuck in the city with no way to get out. There is no way any of us can return to New Orleans to check if we have anything left as long as the city is under seige. I am fortunate - I am safe and I have the wherewithal to take care of my
family. Many thousands of people are not so fortunate. I am disheartened
by the lack of response from our federal government in this crisis. If
SEPT. 3 - 7:10 AM LOUISIANA UPDATE: Morning From Louis Maistros (THE BIG PUNCH), hurricane survivor: Put share this interview with the Mayor of New Orleans with everyone you can: People in this country need to start getting ANGRY about the way the federal government is handling this situation. I'm so pissed right now I can hardly breathe. People are dying RIGHT NOW and it doesn't have to be that way. Please help us make some noise, and tell everyone you know to spread the noise as far and as quickly as possible. So our government is doing as much as possible - BUT not as much as possible is being done. And the reason behind that is all of these other states that need to mobilize their own forces and COME TO THE AID of Louisiana. New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin said on National Television that the "Federal government needs to get off their ass!" And to do that, all of these vacationing Senators and Representatives need to get off of their asses and back to Washington RIGHT NOW! Call them, shame them, on your local radio station, but get them moving. Find out what your Governor is doing to help Louisiana. How can your Governor help? Millions of people need to be evacuated. Those millions need to go Somewhere. It seems that 49 other states can absorb their numbers. We need more than just moving people from one Sports dome to the next. The Houston Astrodome is full. One more thing. Groups of some well meaning people have tried to get into New Orleans to volunteer and help with the aid. Don't. Anyone who goes there will need their own food, water, waste facilities, a place to put their garbage, and fuel and there just isn't enough. Nearly 90,000 square miles of infrastructure have been destroyed. Imagine a 100 mile margin around THAT area that is being used as a staging area for qualified rescue teams. Those facilities that have gas and food outside of the damaged areas have been, or are currently being, depleted. Your donations are what is needed right now. The Official Version vs the In-The-Trenches Version Thousands of Refugees Need Help America is there for its friends, and our friends are there for us SEPT. 3 9:48 AM
From E.C.McMullen Jr. Since 9/11, the Red Cross link has come down, and returned, and come down, in response to various world wide emergencies. I was concerned that, leaving the link up too long might make repeat visitors ignore it. I'm finally starting to appreciate the fact that I should leave it up permanently, since I can never know when and where and to what extent another disaster will happen. I do know that Red Cross efforts go on 24/7, 365 days a year around the world. I'm not asking you to donate every time - or any time - you come here. I'm simply asking that every time you visit us and enjoy the site, you give attention to the Red Cross link beneath our red skull. Just notice it, never forget it. It means life. SEPT. 3 - 10:05 AM
From Mike F. Korn About 800,000 of them have evacuated to Baton Rouge (the state capital), and now Baton Rouge is the largest city in Louisiana. By the way, H.P. Lovecraft visited New Orleans back in the 30's, and visited the famed author E Hoffman Price who lived in New Orleans on around 300 Royal street in the French quarter, and Lovecraft and Price called Robert E Howard (two gun Bhob) in Cross Plains, TX, but he could not afford to meet them in New Orleans! This hurricane has New Orleans looters outgunning the police! Talk about
Lovecraft and Bob Howard debating each other by correspondence about
Civilization vs. Barbarism! Of course Lovecraft was all for Civilization
and Howard was all for Barbarism. SEPT. 3 - 11:00 AM
LOUISIANA UPDATE: Morning By all means, please send me information on what is actually going on. The good, the bad, but no more posturing outsiders trying to stir trouble and hate to direct "controversial" attention to their own egos while the rest of us are trying to do something, anything, to help this situation. I appreciate the emails, but these are now my guidelines. Thanks. Oh and FYI: There is no cannibalism going on in New Orleans - unless its some as-yet-undiscovered deranged nut who was a cannibal anyway - But the story, not reported anywhere but only spread as blog rumor (not surprisingly, where all enraged crackpots and nutjobs go, the Huffington Post), is a barefaced lie meant to make the citizens of New Orleans look like barbaric animals. SEPT. 4
SOMETHING TO LIGHTEN THE MOOD Pretty bad when the people you presume to save are taunting you. Read the report Here. SEPT. 5 From Mike F. Korn New Orleans has been a home or visiting place for: Walt Whitman, Mark Twain, Washington Irving, James Fenimore Cooper, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ferdinand Lementhe (aka Jelly Roll Morton, who was born in the Ninth Ward), Tony Jackson in Storyville, Louis Armstrong, Buddy Bolden, numerous other Jazz Musicians like Bunk Johnson, etc, Herman Melville, Thoreau, Emerson, F Scott Fitzgerald, Malcolm Lowry and his wife were thrown out of a bar on St. Ann while rewriting UNDER THE VOLCANO in the bar, William Faulkner (He had an apartment here that is now a bookstore, in the French Quarter near the Cathedral), Tennessee Williams (he had at least five apartments in the Quarter), Truman Capote who as a child lived in the Monteleone Hotel in the Quarter, John Kennedy Toole taught Composition at UNO, James Branch Cabell, Lafcadio Hearn was a newspaperman for the Times Picayune, Walker Percy, Oscar Wilde, Sherwood Anderson, Nelson Algren, William S. Burroughs lived in Algiers on the West Bank of the city who was visited by Kerouac in ON THE ROAD and scored his smack on the same street where Oswald gave out fliers and Faulkner shot old genteel ladies in the ass with his lawyer friend's bb-gun from another apartment window, Aldous Huxley stayed with Anita Loos in her apt by Jackson Square. Baton Rouge may likely be called "New Rouge" and is housing the greater portion of her big sister city's people. I humbly submit that New Orleans' people are one of a kind, and will not only survive, but also endure. SEPT. 5
LOUISIANA UPDATE 3
Try not to travel this weekend. Please cut down on your driving. Use less fuel if you can so that the rescue busses, which are trying to find their way into Louisiana and New Orleans can have greater accessibility. Right Now. Ignore the politicians and Media marbles who are spending their time talking - pointing their fingers at each other and talking - instead of doing something Right Now (if you are close to any of them when they jabber their partisan bullshit, kick them hard right in their ass!). After 9/11, I asked that any of my visitors who are unemployed to go to their local Red Cross to volunteer their services. Even if you have no rescue experience, your ability to do simple office work at your local Red Cross could free up a person with more experience to run to the disaster. Even keeping the infrastructure going is vital right now. When you hear someone start ragging about who's to blame. Cut them short and ask them directly, "What are YOU doing about this Right Now?" The small company I work for has cut a check for the emergency relief. Is your company doing anything? Ask them. Are you employed? Then send money Right Now! America needs you Right Now! PLEASE! SEPT. 5
QUICK BITES Folks from Mississippi want the country to know that they are in just as dire straits as New Orleans, Louisiana, except nobody is giving them the help that they need. Massive warehouses have been opened in both states to house their dead. Our heroic media forces can only cover so much, and they are currently involved with Louisiana and specifically New Orleans. I wish I had more to tell you about what's going on in Mississippi, but there is almost no media coverage. What links I have found I'm getting from local media sources (local to the actual news). Refugees are pouring in from the following states, following the damage by Katrina: Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. SEPT. 7 From Mike F. Korn Many, many people in New Orleans had no help for up to four days (FEMA) or more. Here is what is going on here from what I know. While finger-pointing goes on, this is what Louisianians are doing. I've got the political acumen of Ed Gein and I don't know much except that Twain had a home here for a while and probably had a drink here and that there are still absinthe bars in the French Quarter (non-working siphons) so I am rather a dullard, but this is what I know. I personally know from being a peon programmer for the state, that the State of Louisiana has a $62 million dollar grant plus tons of other large grants to help our folks, along with all the outside money and damage money. New Orleans is about to get back its tap water. Gas is being distributed. People are being allowed to go back to check their homes, like in Jefferson Parish. Rescue crews are trying to get everyone out and save anyone left. There are people rescuing hundreds of New Orleans pets and reuniting them
with their owners. The Labor agency here is working hard to take as many claims as possible. Anyone can get at least a one time food stamp voucher to replace all the
food that was rotted, plus all the new food assistance for those that
have nothing now. We are creating 10,000 jobs, fair paying jobs with fringe benefits for those that lost everything, plus Baton Rouge is welcoming our New Orleans children into our school systems and college students into our colleges and are being offered in some states, free tuition and board. The traffic is bad, but we love it. There are over 300 helicopters out there at least. We are doing well being half Baton Rouge, half New Orleans. Every church this state has has given tons of shelter and toys and Gatorade and baby formula food and water and diapers and cots, the infirmed are being well taken care of here I've heard, at LSU in our Basketball dome and many other large places and in our hosptals. There was even a Vietnamese Baptist church that gave food and shelter. Everybody is giving everything. I've given what little I have. The power companies are getting the power back in these parishes that were destroyed, they got all of Baton Rouge's power and many other cities power back. Back. The department of social services is working overtime to give money to everyone that lost everything. The pumps are pumping again.
The Red Cross is working overtime, serving hundreds of thousands of meals, getting medicine, treating people. The doctors and nurses are working to exhaustion. State troopers, sheriff deputies, policemen have come in from every state in the country. Our General Russell "John Wayne" Honore is the greatest hero of our time, and is working with General Landreneau. There are tons and tons of shelters everywhere and in every parish in the state. Everybody is volunteering, over five thousand here in Baton Rouge, I think that is an underestimate. Dozens of retired state troopers have volunteered to go back to work. Phone service is getting back in these badly hit areas. And the main thing is, thousands of people had been and continue to be rescued. Wildlife and Fisheries boats have been rescuing people. Regular outdoorsmen brought their boats down to all those badly hit areas. Men are putting out fires. Louisiana has thousands of heroes here. I'm just a poor Louisiana peasant myself that can really mess up a gumbo, but you've just gotten my limited knowledge of what is going on here. I probably left out all the federal help and the National Guard and other other state's Reserves and tons of other things, so I will just stick to fiction writing about old Cajun Men that encounter Alien craft or something. SEPT. 7
OBSERVING THE BIRTH OF THE "I TOLD YOU SO" SNEER As if, because one day a hurricane would destroy the sinking New Orleans, it was the fault of the people who lived there, if they also died there. Now on blogs and news reports, that suppressed "Smarter than thou" sneer is becoming more vocal. So bearing this in mind, let's consider the following things we know on a geographical scale. The west coast of California from San Francisco to San Diego and all points in between those cities: They all know that the big earthquake is coming and when it does it will likely kill millions, plus all the damage that will be done by the stupidity of having a nuclear power plant built IN the San Andreas Fault AND on the very edge of an eroding cliff: the annual costs to keep it from falling into the Pacific are enormous. Southern California: People and animals killed. Homes and forest destroyed by the tens of thousands of acres - EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Most of it is preventable except the environmental groups in the area stand in the way of fire prevention. Seattle: That city is going to get it but big when Mount Rainier goes boom, and it WILL go boom. The entire chain of mountains of which Mount Saint Helen's is but a fraction of: That whole area will be destroyed on a major scale as the Cascade Mountains are rising even as we speak. Everything in the US that is east of Yosemite, according to one theoretical scenario. And, of course, the entire South eastern seaboard by the very next Hurricane. And where do you live? SEPT. 15
QUICK BITES Amid Katrina Chaos, Congressman Used National Guard to Visit Home
SEPT. 19 (Tip culled from Professor
Bainbridge) So in the interests of equal time, and strictly because what Rush had to report is directly involved with the people of New Orleans in particular and the Hurricane victims in general (and I'm counting the lives lost in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi as well as Louisiana), a piece on how ABC News was surprised by the response of real people from New Orleans (as opposed to columnists in far away major cities trying to "feel their pain") and their reaction to the situation. ABC Stunned: Evacuees Don't Blame Bush To ABC's Surprise, Katrina Victims Praise Bush and Blame Nagin Since the story is originally from ABCNews and broadcast on ABCNews, I looked through their website for the full video or report. I looked through all of their videos on Katrina, through all of their headlines, through their Katrina section: I couldn't find it. But I did find this report at ABC about how disgusted people were with Bush's speech. Interestingly enough, most of them aren't from New Orleans. Also: Are Environmentalists responsible for the damage in New Orleans? And they weren't the only environmentalists suing the federal government, through the years, to stop work on the levees Home Is Where The Flood Is (an article from 2003 in The Times-Picayune) A Barrier That Could Have Been (an LA Times article that ran on page 10, Sept. 9. Their front-page stories contradicted this article and blamed Bush. lol!) The CPR (Center for Progressive Reform) debates the LA Times article and defends SOWR: 'Joseph Towers' Assertion That Environmentalists Are To Blame For Katrina Damage Is Pure Fiction. Yes, I know the headline is long. What can I say? It was written by a lawyer. A European blogger uses LexisNexis to refute Clinton advisor Sydney Blumenthal's immediate Blame Bush campaign, started on Sept. 1. US Left: All Straws Clutched, Every Barrel Scraped According to FactCheck.org, it wouldn't have mattered if President Bush did approve
the funds for building the new levees as proposed by the Army Corps of
Engineers. Those levees on the board would have only protected against
a Category 3 storm. The Army Corps of Engineers had already built the latest Category 3 levees that were the newest levees surrounding Lake Ponchartrain. It was specifically those brand new levees that fell apart after Katrina, which was a Category 4. Is Bush to Blame for New Orleans Flooding? The state government of Louisiana foresaw this problem and how it would likely play out. Chillingly accurate prediction based on an 8 day "tabletop" exercise. In Case Of Emergency See a diagram of the New Orleans levee system at Science Buzz. A 2002 article from the New York Times: Nothing's Easy for New Orleans Flood Control. 24 hours before Katrina hit: One emergency measure - CSX An article from Scientific American, 2001: Drowning New Orleans. SEPT. 22 KATRINA HORROR: Aftermath 2 Now this is what the Associated Press has to say about him today, via the Seattle-Post Intelligencer. And this is what Knight-Ridder has to say, via The Myrtle Beach Sun News. Bloggers are standing by until they know whether Floyd is a Democrat or Republican. OCT. 6
HOW MANY AMERICANS DID THE MEDIA KILL? Read about it at the Washington Post Here. Then at the Houston Chronicle Here. And at the Los Angeles Times Here. Their apology? Basically it comes down to an "Oh yeah? Well..." kind of statement which is, "So some people died! More people are dying in the Iraq war!" Yes, but besides the fact that you are all adults in your late twenties and up, something even a first grader would know is, IT'S A FREAKIN' WAR IN IRAQ! It wasn't a war in Louisiana where you WILLFULLY reported lies regardless of how many people would die from the irrational fear and hatred you fomented just so you could try and bring down a sitting president who wasn't from a political party you liked!
