TERROR TALES NEW EDITOR HERTZAN CHIMERA
Terror Tales ezine is due to relaunch at Xmas this year with a totally brand new graphic layout and totally reworked structure. I have shifted Terror Tales to a quarterly issue format. The relaunch issue is themed BODY HORROR and the line-up includes the likes of horror superstars WESTON OCHSE, CHARLEE JACOB, EDWARD LEE, MARK MCLAUGHLIN, MIKE ARNZEN, KURT NEWTON among a gore-laden supporting cast of poets and authors. Non-fiction articles deal with aspects of BODY MUTILATION, EMBALMING, THRASH METAL, JAPANESE EYE and 3D GAMES. There's an exclusive interview with BRUCE CAMPBELL. Featured Artist for this relaunch BODY HORROR issue is none other than South African MITCH PHILLIPS, rising star of the gruesome illustration field (watch out for this guy - he is going places).

There is just so much in Terror Tales relaunch, that even I am stunned. I was brought on to totally revamp a site - hey, screw that, I wanna totally revamp a genre.

From Jeff Miller at kineticfilmworks.com
"TOOLBOX" PRODUCER JOINS "THE LAST HORROR PICTURE SHOW"

Tony DiDio, the producer coming off Tobe Hooper's recent remake of THE TOOLBOX MURDERS, has joined forces with Jeff Miller and Gary Jones to produce THE LAST HORROR PICTURE SHOW.

The movie will star Robert Englund ("Freddy" from the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET series), Kane Hodder ("Jason" from the FRIDAY THE 13TH series), and Gunnar Hansen ("Leatherface" from the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE). It concerns a group of would-be filmmakers out to see the locations where their favorite horror movie was shot who encounter three demented characters with plans of their own. It will mark the first time these three "titans of terror" have appeared in a movie together.

SCREAMFEST 2003 HAUNTS FLORIDA
I was never a major horror movie buff. A film freak, yes. But slasher films, movies designed to make you shiver, hadn't been my cup of tea. However, on November 8-9, I discovered another world of B-movies and low-budget terrors. For $20 (for two days) I visited Screamfest 2003, at the Holiday Inn in Plantation, Florida, the first of an annual event planned by KMG Productions. It drew many guests, plus the red Plymouth from Stephen King's Christine, parked outside the hotel.

END OF THE WORLD HORROR
Well, of course the end of the world would be a pretty horrifying thing. I'd have to say that the end of the world ranks right up there at the top of horrifying things. But just how will the world end? Oh, there are many ways, and the following link provides a few of them in a rather hilarious fashion. Nobody seems to know who did it, and you can find it on a number of sites. But the one below has it full screen instead of in a little box, so it won. Have your latest Flash Player at the ready for

End Of The World.

ARE YOU FEARLESS?
Northern California's first and only genre-based Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy film festival will take place March 12-18, 2004 in the Bay Area. The Fearless Tales Genre Fest will be held at three prestigious venues – The Victoria Theatre, Parkway Speakeasy and The Werepad – and features a slate of 23 feature films and 30 short films.
