Possibly the most emotionally touching, most emotionally wrenching, certainly one of the most horrific zombie movies ever made.
It all takes place in the space of less than three minutes and it's animated.
And on top of everything else, it was meant to be a trailer for a video game.
February 16, 2011: IGN first announces this trailer. Gamers saw it and DEAD ISLAND was as good as sold! Non-gamers saw it and were agog!

Lionsgate is Making a Movie Based On the Dead Island Trailer
It doesn't get any more official than an announcement from Lionsgate motion picture group president Joe Drake; there will be a Dead Island movie, and it sounds like it will be the first major motion picture based on a video game trailer.
