f8 Jason Wen's multi-award winning 2001 opus that begins and ends with a story and logic that is uniquely alien, fascinating, and pointless to all but the characters who inhabit it. Both futuristic and otherworldy while at the same time being neither, f8 is an imaginative look at Biomechanoid creatures with motivations entirely different from our own, who are willing to risk their lives in a manner all too human, to achieve their goals which are utterly alien.
With f8 as his calling card, Jason went on to create the special effects behind such movies as HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, WALLACE & GROMIT IN THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT, and HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, PROMETHEUS, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.
