Chilean beach 'blob' identified

SANTIAGO, Chile, (Reuters) -- Chilean scientists said on Friday
their study of a huge blob of flesh found on a Pacific beach about
three weeks ago concluded it was the carcass of a sperm whale, ending
speculation of a giant octopus.

Anyone who has read my story, SOME PEOPLE (Decadence:
An Erotic Horror Anthology. edited by Monica J. O'Rourke. Prime
Publishing) knows of my interest in the varmints and oddities
that inhabit the oceans. Now there is that...well, that thing
rotting on a remote beach in Chile.
When it first washed up, it was the size of a small
ship. After a week of rotting, it's the size of a semi truck.
Hope someone figures out what it is before it's all gone. There
are many speculations of course, but this is my theory:
